Trolley Web-Site for the Chagala/Carter Wedding

Note to Guests:  The date of our wedding is literally the busiest evening in San Diego for the summer.  The ceremony and reception site is located directly next to Petco Park (the new Padre Baseball Stadium) where a Padre Game will be played that night.  In addition, the largest convention of the year (Comic-Con) is being held the weekend of the wedding on the other side of the ceremony/reception site.   Finally, Saturday nights are the busiest nights in this popular area to begin with -- especially during summer break/tourist season.

Parking will be at an absolute premium in the Gaslamp Quarter.  The new Baseball Stadium was constructed knowing in advance that there is not adequate parking available in the downtown area. 

We are encouraging our guests to utilize the Trolley system to get into Gaslamp the night of the wedding.  Ample and free parking are available at multiple areas where trolley stops are located.  We recommend using the Fashion Valley Parking / Trolley stop.  Trolley fare is less than $5.00 per person versus $25+ for parking in the Gaslamp Quarter -- if it can be found.  The Trolley Ride from Fashion Valley to the Gaslamp stop is approximately 25 minutes.
